Title I
What is a School-Home Compact?
Working Together
The School-Home Compact is an agreement that families, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how families and teachers will work together to make sure all students reach or exceed grade-level standards.
Communication
BBE is committed to two-way frequent communication with families about students’ learning. Some of the ways you can expect us to communicate are:
- Remind
- Monthly School Newsletter
- Class Dojo
- Take Home Folders
- Phone Calls
- Report Cards
- Skyward

Building Partnerships
School-Wide Title I
Our Title I program hosts family events throughout the year to support students in reading, writing, and math. While all BBE families are welcome, some events are designed for specific grade levels, and families of those students are invited to attend. These events offer fun, engaging activities and great opportunities to connect with teachers and other families.
Our Goals
- School Goals: BBE administrators, school leaders, and teachers use student achievement data to determine the most important areas for improvement for our school.
- ELA: By spring of 2026, Benny Bills Elementary will increase the percentage of 3rd–5th grade students scoring on-track or mastered on the ELA portion of the TNReady assessment.
- Math: By spring of 2026, Benny Bills Elementary will increase the percentage of 3rd–5th grade students scoring on-track or mastered on the Math portion of the TNReady assessment.
